WM. M'CORMICK, 68, TAKEN BY DEATH AT SON'S HOME
William McCormick, 68 years old, a resident of Morgan county for seven years since coming from Blythedale, MO., died at 5 o'clock Monday morning at the home of his son, James McCormick, two miles northwest of Fort Morgan. Mr. McCormick suffered a stroke last spring and spring and has been in failing health for several months.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock at the James McCormick home which is the first house easy of the Country club. Rev. W. T. Scott will be in charge of the rites, arrangements for which are being made at the Acre Robinson mortuary. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles Long, L. Ariord, W. C. Chambers, Irvin Eicher, Len Parminter and A. D. Zittle.
The Widow survives as well as a daughter, Mrs. Mary Nichols of Wichita Kan., and the son James of Fort Morgan. Eva and Alva McCormick, children of Mr. And Mrs. James McCormick, are grandchildren. Surviving brothers are James McCormick of Holly, Colo., and Frank McCormick of Kansas City.
During his years in Morgan county, Mr. McCormick had demonstrated to a widening circle of friends his strength of character and innumerable excellent qualities, and his death Monday causes the community to extend its sympathies to his widow and relatives.
