Jerome Letter

Two week since, Capt. Hoback Delivered two lectures at this place, subject for the first lecture "The Divine Authenticity of the Bible" Profane as well as sacred history was read and a chain of logical reasoning support by facts, made it plain to all *ave one or two. That the Bible is true, hence a revelation from God to us.

The second lecture was "The Super Excellence of the Christian religion over all other forms of Religion." And if I am any judge in such matters it was a grand effort for truth, the fruit of which will be gathered many days hence.
