WOLFE
Leonard Leroy, 81, passed away May 26, 1989. Services were held on Sunday, May 28, 1989 at the Jones United Methodist Church with burial at the Jones IOOF Cemetery. Leonard was born to Mr. & Mrs. Frank A. Wolfe on March 6, 1908 near Coyle, OK in Payne County. In the Fall of 1918 they moved to Jones, OK. Leonard was baptized into the Church of Brethren at the age of 12 years. He lived on a farm near State Center & graduated from high school there. He married Nora Viola Lunsford of Choctaw in 1929 . He drove a school bus from age 17-38 & farmed near Jones until 1963. He drove & delivered propane until retirement in Eastern Oklahoma County. Moved to Choctaw in 1963. Taught Sunday School Class off & on since the age of 17 until 10 years ago. Member of the Jones United Methodist Church since 1946. Past officer & charter member of Choctaw Kiwanis with 24 years perfect attendance. Life member of Kiwanis International. Preceded in death by his wife, Viola in Dec. 1984. He was a loving & dedicated Dad & is survived by 5 daughters, of Jones, of Fletcher, , OKC, , of the home, 1 brother, Ernest Wolfe, Jones & 5 sisters, Lenora Jones, Jones, , Denver, Co, , , both of Jones & of OKC, 14 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives & friends.
