John F. Byerly

John F. Byerly, 78, of Blythe, died Jan. 20, 1994. Services were conducted Jan. 23 at Community United Methodist Church in Blythe.

Mr. Byerly was born Feb. 25, 1915, in Elk City, Okla. He spent his life working as a self-employed concrete contractor. He came to the Blythe area three years ago as a winter visitor.

Mr. Byerly was a 30-year member of the Friends Church in Pueblo, Colo: and was recently a member of the Community United Methodist Church in Blythe.

Mr. Byerly is survived by his wife, ; five sons, ; two daughters, ; one brother, ; four sisters, Mary Ruth Enos of Firestone, Colo. Lida Chapman of Salt Lake City, Utah, ; 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand-child.
