Military, 4 Oct 1861, , Jasper, Iowa, USA. 432 He enlisted from Jasper Co., along with his best friend and tent mate, Franklin Rieman (who married his widow after he came home from the war). 5. Occupation: Teacher, Bef 1862. 35 William married Christina Schultz BAKER, daughter of George R. BAKER and Elizabeth SCHULTZ, on 18 Dec 1860 in , Jasper, Iowa, USA.333 (Christina Schultz BAKER was born about 1841 in , , Indiana, USA 334 and died in Dec 1915 in Altoona, Polk, Iowa, USA 335.)
