March 2001 President’s Message February is just about over. I hope everyone had a Happy Valentine Day! Henry and I went to Quartzsite, & had a nice trip. The weather was not very warm, but we had a nice visit with some of our members. Leona and I went to Mexico, we had a good time. Henry and I went out to see the guys and gals on the desert but no one was home. We had a good turn out at the monthly meeting. Bob and Micky surprised us, was great to see them but they were on their way back to Quartzsite. As we all know Andy has not been doing very well. He's in the Tooele Valley Nursing Home. Summer is coming and I know we are all going to be very busy in our yards and gardens. But we all need to stay on our path of Friendship. Donna M. Chavez

Byron Scott is having some health problems, hopefully he can take care of it soon. Letter From The Editor:
I would like to thank the members for putting up with me while I’ve been down here. It has been kind of hard to keep up with what has been happening with the club, getting things told to me second hand, trying to get the newsletter out in time so it can be sent to Utah then copied & mailed. I would just like to thank everyone for the help & sorry about acting like I need everything yesterday. Well I finally did something I swore I’d never do, I spent way too much for a computer program. Now I am converting the old newsletters into PDF documents (the program that reads it is free). I will also be combining all the "how to" & "hints and tips" articles, into one document & will have it available in the club library as a computer CD, and if it’s not to big, have it printed out as a manual. Looking forward in seeing you in April or May!!!
