Mrs. Margaret L. Searcy

Mrs. Margaret Searcy 112 East G, resident of Reno Co. 39 Years died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. L. F. McConnell, in Salina at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

She was born in Chaplin, Ky., Dec. 31, 1875 and lived in the Elmer and Darlow community 32 years. Mrs. Searcy moved to Hutchinson seven years ago. She was a member of the South Hutchinson Methodist Church.

Mrs. Searcy had been ill three months. She was the widow of Ed who died in 1942.

Survivors are the daughter, Mrs McConnell: a son, Charles, Hutchinson, superintendent of the mails at the Hutchinson post office; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two sisters Mrs. Belle Shoe, and Mrs. Elsie Garrett, both Hutchinson; two brothers, Will Lowber, Cordell Okla. and Boone Lowber, Tyrone, Okla.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson and Sons chapel with burial in Eastside Cemetery.
