Mrs. Myrtle Francis Searcy, 68, Washington D.C., a life-long resident of Reno Co. before moving to Washington five years ago, died Tuesday night in Washington . She was born September 9, 1900 in Fowler. She married Charles L. Searcy in 1922 in Darlow community.

She was a member of United Methodist Church in Hutchinson and Washington. She taught school for the last five years in Washington, and taught in Hutchinson grade schools for 30 years.
