County resident since 1901 dies
McLOUD Mrs. Ollie Markham 67, resident of Pottawatomie county since 1901, died Thursday afternoon at her home here.
She had been ill for the last three weeks, suffering from gallstone ailment.
Services will be announced Roesch Brothers.
Mrs. Markham came to Oklahoma from Collin county, Texas with her parents in 1901. They lived on a farm north of Shawnee for several years.
She and her husband Charles C Markham, moved to a farm north of McLoud in 1913. A year later they came McLoud.
Mrs. Markham was a member of the Church of Christ and the Farm Womens Club.
Survivors in addition to he husband, are three sons, Carl, Edward and E. J. Markham, all of Fowler Colo., three daughters, Mrs. Geneva Boland, 523 North Park; Mrs. Atha Pickford, Visalia Calif., and Mrs. .
Two Sister, Mrs S. J. Gardner 1321 North Louisa, and Mrs. Ester Lane 1002 North Tucker, a brother P. B. Murphy, San Pablo, Calif., and 13 grandchildren
