ROCHEPORT PIONEER DIES

Mrs. Sarah Hulett Chapman, 80, Passed Entire Life in One Town.

Mrs. Sarah Hulett Chapman of Rocheport, 80 years old, died Sunday afternoon at her home. Born in Rocheport April 14, 1837 and spending her entire life there, she was the oldest citizen of that town at the time of her death.

Mrs. Chapman is survived by eight children. They are: Thomas of Rocheport, James of Colorado, Neil of Tennessee, George of Howard County, Mrs. Sarah Williams and Mrs. William Robinson of Benton County, Mrs. W. E. Werkheiser and Mrs. Anna Chapman Bysfield of Rocheport, Will and Paul Hulett of Columbia are nephews of Mrs. Chapman. Her husband, Thomas Chapman, died twenty-three years ago.

Funeral services were conducted at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon by the Rev. Carl Taylor of Columbia. Burial was in the Rocheport Cemetery.
