His body was viewed by the Coroner on 16 Nov. 1783. He had been in the pines, with his brother Jesse, loading logs, when one of the logs accidentally fell off the wagon and hit his left temple. [Ref: N.J. Inquisition of the Dead, Vol. I, p. 34.] |
