8. Probate, 12 Apr 1746. ⁵⁴⁴ An inventory of his personal property was taken on 2 mo. (Apr.) 11, 1746. He named his wife Mary and his daughter, Elizabeth Newbury, as executors, but the will was probated by Elizabeth Newbury, surviving executrix.

Richard married Mary CARLILE in 1699.⁵⁴⁴ (Mary CARLILE was born on 20 Jul 1674 ⁵⁴⁴ and died between 17 Dec 1744 and 12 Apr 1746 ⁵⁴⁴.)

  Marriage Notes:

The date of their marriage is also uncertain. In the Haines Ancestry it is stated that the marriage took place in 1699. In Virkus the date is given as 1691. Since no record of a marriage has ever been found, it is difficult to establish a date. ⁵⁴⁴
