JOSEPH W. STEEL PASSES AWAY AT GRANTSVILLE
Joseph W. Steel passes away from this life last Thursday morning, May 15, 1919, at his home in Grantsville. Mr Steel was born in England, November 15, 1844, but has been a resident of different parts of this county since childhood, having come to this country with his parents, James I., and Charlott Steel, in the early fifthies.
The funeral services over the remains were held at Grantsville last Sunday. Bishop John Wm. Anderson, of the Grantsville Second ward, conducted the services. The music was furnished by the Second ward choir under direction of Andrew Millward. The opening prayer was by Elder Benj. L. Bowman. President C. Alvin Orme, and his councilor President A. J. Stookey were speakers. Elder Orson W. Johnson offered the closing prayer. The remains were talken to Draper immediately after the service where the intermant took place.
