Former Rich County Man Dies at Ogden
Matthew M. Kennedy, 50, of 3813 Ogden, Ave., Ogden, Utah, died Saturday in the Dec hospital, following a year's illness. He had been a truck driver for Lee Brick Company for the past 16 years.
He was born In Randolph, Utah, January 11, 1886, a son of John and Hannah Simpson-Kennedy. He was a member of the L. D. S. Fourteenth Ward of Ogden. He was married July 2, 1910 in Ogden to Ella Lutz. He has lived in Ogden for the past 18 years. He was a Rich County resident up until that time.
Mr. Kennedy is survived by his widow; his stepmother, Mrs. Annie L. Kennedy; a son, ; a daughter, , and a granddaughter, , and the following brothers and sisters: , all of Randolph, Utah; , Denver; , Pocatello, Idaho, and , Huntsville.
Funedal services were held Monday at 1 o'clock in the Ogden 14th Ward Chapel under the direction of Bishop Thomas Parker. Interment was made in the Mount Ogden cemetery, under the direction of Lindquist & Sons.
