Le Roy Whiting

Le Roy Whiting, 53, was found dead in his hotel room at 241 Rio Grande St., Tuesday evening. He died of apparently natural causes, according to an attending physician.

Born Sept. 15, 1903. In Garden City. Rich County, a son of James H. and Sadie Lutz Whiting. Married Susan Ivie and later divorced. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Had been a miner around Carbon mines for many years.

Survivors: mother, and a sister, , both of Woods Cross: another sister. . Salt Lake City: two sons and a daughter. Gayland, DeVone and Colleen, all of Cedar City; two grandchildren.
